In 2025, we left our life in Pucón, Chile, to embark on an adventure across South America. This journey isn’t just about exploring new places—it’s about connecting with the world, sharing our skills, and learning from others along the way.

Courtney
I'm Courtney, a photographer, artist, and mother. My life has been an ever-evolving map, from Atlanta to the untamed landscapes of Chile. In 2012, a trip through South America changed my life, taking me to Tierra del Fuego and eventually Pucón, where I found a home, a family, and my purpose.
Photography and visual storytelling are my way of exploring and sharing what inspires me: human connection, nature, and the stories that give meaning to our existence.

Jorge
I'm Jorge, raised on the remote and melancholic island of Tierra del Fuego. Growing up there taught me to reflect and find beauty in the stories woven into every place and person.
By profession, I’m a lawyer, but my true passion lies in lifelong learning, long walks in nature, and deep conversations that uncover new perspectives.
This project is an opportunity to connect, listen, and share the stories that often go unnoticed—but deserve to be told.

Gabriel and Paulo
Gabriel and Paulo, 8 and 6 years old, are our travel companions and explorers in training. Already little adventurers, they climb trees, chase rivers, and remind us every day to see the world with curiosity and wonder.
Lovers of nature and sports, they enjoy hiking, climbing, cycling, and chess. They challenge each other, push their limits, and grow together—not just as good friends, but as even better brothers.
Why do we travel?
Travel is our way of connecting with the world. It is a process of learning and growth that allows us to value diversity and teach our children the importance of respecting and collaborating with others.
Through La Mochila de Colores, we seek to discover and share inspiring stories, while helping others strengthen their projects.
